After those attending had settled in Kevin ably assisted by members of the congregation conducted a service.

In the service he presented items for us to view and after a bible reading identifying the

context of each in relation to the Last supper he explained their significance.

‍
The items were:-

30 coins (not silver but silver coloured) the reward for betraying Jesus.

A bowl and towel to symbolise the washing of the disciples feet.

A chalice symbolic of the cup of suffering Jesus prayed might be taken from him.

Following the service people chatted while waiting for the simple meal of soup and a bread roll
‍
followed by apple tart and cream to be served.
‍
