We are a medium sized, inclusive and welcoming congregation, located right in the heart of Derby’s city centre.
We have had a presence hereabouts for nearly 2½ Centuries, and in 2019, as a part of long-promised redevelopment, we moved to our present site, Stuart House, in Green Lane – only 200 metres from the site of the eighteenth-Century church
After an interesting time when we learned about “COVID” and “Lockdown”, we rebuilt our fellowship and resumed our ministry to toddlers, persons of reduced mobility, crafters and those who just enjoy meeting for coffee. (See our Regular Activities page and our Facebook entries [link below] for what’s happening now!) We also enjoy Bible Study (sometimes),special events and of course our regular family-friendly Sunday morning worship. (Be prepared to laugh together!)
ContactWe offer an extra special welcome to anyone who has ever felt as though they weren’t welcome. Our church is fully accessible (including a hearing loop) for those with disabilities.
We love to have children and families (of all shapes and sizes!) with us and noise is welcomed not frowned upon! Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered or anything else? You are welcome here and assured that God delights in you!
This church is committed to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk, and to ensure their well-being in a safe and caring environment. we believe that they should know that they are valued and safely enjoy and access every aspect of the life of our church
